About the Merge: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Q AND A

The P.A.T Center and the PAT Center II, Inc. has merged and we are not one agency called “People Advocating Transition”. We envision serving more adults, clients with substance abuse issues, and court involved clients. The administrative office is located in Pine Bluff, AR at 620 South Laurel. The agency has locations in Pine Bluff, Little Rock, North Little Rock, and Forrest City. We provide an array of mental health and substance abuse services at all locations including: medication management, therapy, paraprofessional services, psycho-educational, advocacy, and outpatient substance abuse treatment. Our staff is equipped to service adults, adolescents, children, and families.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Q AND A
Q. Does the agency still do school-based, home-based, and in-office services?
A. Yes, the agency continues to offer treatment in varied settings to meet the needs of the clients.
Q. Will my therapist or case manager change?
A. No, we will make every effort to keep clients with their current therapist and QBHP.
Q. Are there services in North Little Rock and Forrest City locations?
A. Yes, we have mental health and outpatient substance abuse services all locations.
Q. Are there new services offered by the agency?
A. Yes, the agency is doing life skills groups, substance abuse groups for adolescents and adults, and SAFE Care (Forrest City). We are also looking to expand services to include day treatment for adults.

SATISCATION SURVEYS
As the CEO of the agency, I take the treatment of our clients seriously. The agency makes ongoing efforts to improve quality, accessibility, and effectiveness of services. Our clients, stakeholders, and employees’ opinions, concerns, and suggestions matters. In an effort to improve we solicit input about the accessibility, effectiveness, and efficiency of our services. The clients, referral sources, and employees are overall generally satisfied with the services and employment setting. There were areas that client’s, referral source, and employees suggested including of expansion of services to include day treatment, support groups, and more adult services.
The agency takes feedback from stakeholders seriously. Areas of improvement identified through the survey include client requesting assistance with basic needs (e.g., clothing, food, shelter), asking for transportation to appointments, and asking for a male MHP. The agency will present the comments, suggestions, and issues to the advisory board, employees, and incorporate into plans. –Ronald Kirby, CEO

The agency continues to see the highest quality staff to service the needs of our diverse clientele. We are currently hiring in all locations, full and part-time employee for the following positions:
Mental Health Positions (Licensed)
Therapists
Minimum Qualifications: Licensed Psychologist, LCSW, LMSW, LPE-I, LPC, LAC, LMFT, APN or CNS with a specialty in psychiatry or mental health.

Mental Health (Bachelor’s Level)
Qualified Behavioral Health Providers (QBHPs):
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a human service-related field.

Office Support Staff
Office Support Staff (OSS): Full-time positions for all locations.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or human resources related field preferred.

People Advocating Transition PIPELINE is a quarterly newsletter for stakeholders, clients, parents, community agencies, and referral sources. The PIPELINE provides ongoing updates about P.A.T. Center projects, introduction of staff, and our efforts to improve performance and quality of services. Our aim is to be transparent about internal workings by holding staff and Leadership accountable for day to day operations.
