Medication Management

A Board Certified Physician is on staff and provides psychiatry services. The physician reviews and evaluates each client upon admission. There are periodic assessments by the psychiatrist for needed psychiatric and/or psychological services. When there is a recommendation for psychotropic medication, the physician prescribes to address mental health symptoms. The physician follows the client throughout treatment for reevaluation and/or maintenance of psychotropic medications and evaluations occur monthly, every sixty (60) days and/or every ninety (90) days. The psychiatrist will meet with the client and parent/legal guardian (if applicable) during psychiatric visits to evaluate for medication or address any concerns.
